For those of you who don't know me, I adore werewolf and true mate stuff. This book was no exception. I sOoo loved this book. I started it and couldn't put it down.

I loved Allison and her fighting ways:) She was tough, yet vulnerable. Going from social butterfly to hated pariah seemingly overnight, had to be tough. I would have reacted the same way.

Then she fought with her brother and their parents decide it is time to air out the laundry. They were werewolves and were going to live in a pack in another state.

Then that was where Kendall and Cade came in. Cade was super dreamy *sigh* and Kendall felt the need to mark her territory. She wants to be the pack's female alpha and will stop at nothing to get her way, fate be damned.

The author did a three way narration and while I enjoyed it, the story could have lived without Kendall's P.O.V.. She was necessary to the story, but not in an official capacity.

I absolutely thought that this book was a score. I found it through a blog review and am so glad I picked it up. If you love YA werewolf stories, then this book is a must. I can't wait to see what happens in book 2 after all the lies were revealed.

A great opening book. It was my first introduction to the author and I must say there was plenty happening with decent twists and turns to keep me interested.
You will not be disappointed.love it read book in a few hours every twist and turn not your usually story line.secret and twist and turns check it out.
I am kinda on the fence with Pack of Lies (Red Ridge Pack). On one hand, I really enjoyed the story, but on the other hand there were some discrepancies within the story. (You know I don't like "Spoiler Alerts", but I can't really give you a good explanation without it this time. Sorry.)

Dylan is suppose to be a Bad-Ass villain, but wimps out with Ali and Kendall? WHAT?!

Cade is Alpha but can't seem to stand on his own two feet. HOWEVER, if you can look between the lines with the writing about his father along with Cade mentioning the "Elders", you would think there are some underline things not being explained. (Which again is not a good way to write a story. Not explaining more.)

Ali has a reputation for being a "tough girl" from her last school but hardly stands up to Kendall?

There are a couple of other things, but you get my point.

BUT, I still think this story is good and can actually go somewhere with sequels. I will be looking for the sequels in this series and I do recommend this story. Just remember to try to overlook a couple of discrepancies and not enough explanations on a couple of things and you will enjoy this short read.
Imagine being a person with tons of friends and the all of a sudden becoming isolated and alone? That is what happens to Allison Wright or Alli as her family calls her. Her only friend seems to be her brother Aiden. Alli is getting into fights, and has absolutely no friends that will even talk to her, while her brother is the most popular guy at school. It all changes for them them both when they find out that their mom is a werewolf. Wait doesn't that mean they are both werewolves? But that's not the worst of it. To help both Alli and her brother handle their new forms they have to move from Texas to the "estates" up North to live with their mother's old "pack", and not everyone is happy to see them!

Fast paced, and plot twisted! You'll wish you were a part of this beautiful pack! As long as you don't fall in love with the alpha's son!
I can understand doing a few chapters from the "hero" perspective, but to keep going to the villain's mind just made me angry.

I also thought Cade was a total wimp. Seriously.
I found this a very good book.
Here is not a lot of action in ,nut this is really a love story.
What I also very well liked is that the end does not suddenly stops or exciting stops.
I could not put down this book so I'm starting the evening reading and because the book was so good, I've read the whole night accidentally.
In the morning i was already don reading.
This book be thicker to me

I'm going to tell you anything what is in the book, what I can say is that there is a bit of action, a lot of love and romance and also jealousy
I can not wait for that book two comes out

How could people possibly even remotely think this book was great? Sure it was good,maybe, but not great. You couldn't connect with the characters, I get it that they're true mates and all. But when Cade plainly went back together with Kendall, after telling her that he was going to figure it all out, and OBVIOUSLY knew it was hurting her, he did NOTHING. it did not paint him as the good person that as helping his mate and being selfless. He did it because he didn't want to face the consequences of being with Alli. And when he did face his father it was after they figured out they were true mates and knew they had no other choice than be together. I was also displeased on how Alli just came running straight back into his arms KISSING him after all he her through saying nothing, no warning, as soon as he leaves a note to meet her at the pier she does that? Just like that, they don't care about Kendall. Cade knew how her mom was but didn't even try to help when he figured things wouldn't work out between them when he loved Alli oh so much? This book had a good frame but wasn't layed out and played right.
